About the Wool
Seagull - Lightweight Wool
Our premium yarn from South American crossbred sheep, produced exclusively for Dale of Norway. This light and soft yarn is perfect for mid-layer garments requiring a lighter and softer feel. To make it machine washable it undergoes a revolutionary new wool treatment using natural non-toxic salts. Naturally, our wool is mulesing-free. Garments knitted with Seagull can be machine washed using wool-cycle. (Fiber diameter: 27 micron)
History
Svanøy is a lush island situated on the west coast of Norway. The pattern design of this sweater is partly inspired by our Isfrid sweater, partly by the holly plant, rare in west coast Norway Norway, but thriving on the Svanøy island.
